Sixteen-year-old Christopher Field loved Godzilla, superheroes, history, wrestling, and all his books. He never went anywhere without his Civil War cap. He was also well-versed in current events and might have become a lawyer, debater or writer. Unfortunately, Christopher had spinal scoliosis, and he died on July 29, 2005, from a pulmonary embolism following spinal surgery. His mother noted that Christopher always championed for others, and donation of his eyes and tissues continue his legacy.
