Michael Gerard Miller, (MG), was a 14-year-old-boy who had a passion for life. He was always going out of this way to help others. He loved to snowboard, play basketball and baseball, swim, play video games and listen to music. He volunteered his time teaching younger kids to read and always offered tips to fellow snowboarders while on the mountain.
His sudden and untimely death on March 28, 2003, left his family devastated, but they have found comfort knowing that in his passing, he saved the lives of five others. “Even through death, his selfless giving continues on through his life-saving gifts,” said his father Mike, who has become a community advocate, speaking to school groups about organ donation. |
