In August 2003, 16-month-old Micah Miller was out for a peaceful walk with his parents, Eric and Jenna, when a van went out of control and hit Eric and Micah, who was in a carrier on Eric’s back. They were thrown nearly 60 feet. Micah did not survive.
Eric and Jenna chose to donate Micah’s heart valves, which saved the life of a 10-month old boy from New Mexico who had a congenital heart defect. Eric Miller will honor Micah as he rides on this year’s Donate Life float. |
