Randall Eugene Woolen packed a lot of living into his 30 years. As an avid outdoorsman, he scaled rock walls, camped on mountain tops, dove into freezing black oceans and went sky diving – a skill he learned while in the Army Special Forces.

This rugged individual was also known to bake and decorate Ninja Turtle and train- themed birthday cakes for his son and nephews. He loved and nurtured his family, and he was never embarrassed to tell his mother in front of his friends, “I love you, Mom.” They were very close.

“Randall loved life, so when he died in a rock-climbing accident on April 27,1992, it seemed fitting that his legacy would be of giving life to others,” said his mother, Barbara. “We were able to donate his heart, liver and kidneys, helping to save the lives of four people. “Randall’s adventures continue, but now in the lives of those who received his life-saving gifts.”

She went on saying, “We know that you are touching the stars and can finally see the curvature of the earth. Your love continues to inspire us.”
