Johnathan Sim, a healthy, athletic 33-year-old, worked for World Vision, a leading international relief and development organization. His work allowed him to do what he loved most: saving the lives of kids around the world in such countries as North Korea, Sri Lanka, Uganda, and Zambia. His belief in leaving a legacy of value was at the core of his being. A father of two, Johnathan died unexpectedly on July 26, 2005. After much thought, his wife knew that Johnathan would have wanted nothing more than to leave a legacy of life for others, and he did just that by donating his heart, liver and kidneys.
