On April 4, 2006, 15-year-old Chris Trevizo was the victim of a homicide. He was kept on life support for six days, but he could not overcome his wounds. A few weeks earlier, he had mentioned to his mother that if anything were to happen to him, he wanted to donate his organs.
Among the three lives he saved as an organ donor was his first grade teacher, who received one of his kidneys on Palm Sunday 2006. |
