JULIA’S STORY
Julia Bruno died in September of 2019. Her motto was "Always be the better person." Her friends put that in the yearbook as their quote under their senior pictures.
Julia Bruno was a compassionate and kind young lady. She passed away eight days shy of her 18th birthday from a car accident. She was 2 days into her senior year of high school.
She was always helping her friends and was happy to see them happy. She was a pleaser; her smile lit up the room. She was a happy young lady.
Julia left behind her mother, father, and brother Jacob. She also had aunts, uncles, and tons of cousins. There is not a single day that goes by that she is not thought of. Her beauty and kindness will always be remembered. She has touched so many lives in her short time on this earth. She loved to help people, text them, and check in on them to see if they were doing ok.
She is one of kind, a blessing. She was pure and honest and was full of life. She was always laughing and joking around. She didn't have a mean bone in her body.
Julia was a good student, a great big sister and daughter. Her family is so proud of her for wanting to donate her organs and save lives.
She made a difference in the world with her generous personality. She was loved by everyone who met her. She worked at her local YMCA as a pre-school caregiver. She also worked with disabled kids in summer camp and Unified Sports in high school. Every summer she went to Steubenville Bible Camp with her friends. She volunteered at the soup kitchen and her local church.
She was athletic and loved playing soccer most of her life. She also played basketball in middle school.
Julia saved five lives and continues to live on in others. The man who received her heart still keeps in touch with her family and communicates monthly. He is so grateful to her and her family.
She is forever remembered and loved by her family and friends. Julia's friends still keep in contact with her family. Her legacy will live forever in the hearts of many people.
