CHRISTIAN’S STORY

Christian Michael Bezenar had the ability to make everyone feel at ease with his sense of humor, kindness, and self-effacing charm. He cherished time with his family and friends, especially at their mountain home near Gunnison, CO. Christian dedicated his career to tissue donation, first at the Eye Bank in Denver, then at Allosource, and ultimately as President of JRF Ortho, where he led a team supplying allografts for sports medicine surgeries. During his life, Christian helped heal and restore vision to many through his work with cornea and tissue donation, and after his sudden passing from a genetic heart condition at age 49, he continued to help others as a donor. Through his generous gifts of bone, ligaments, nerve allografts, and skin, Christian has the potential to heal more than 900 people. He will be forever loved and missed by his family and friends.
