PATRICIA’S STORY

Patricia was an amazing and inspirational woman. She always treated friends and strangers with generosity and with open arms. Growing up, she loved playing baseball and spending time with family and friends. Patricia had many skills and hobbies, including playing and watching baseball, and collecting old-school American muscle cars. She was also a hairdresser, and she had a bubbly and strong personality. Her presence was always felt when she entered a room, ready to share her point of view with compassion and grace. She was the perfect combination of strength and sweetness. She was a wonderful mother who raised her three boys into great young men.

Patricia was a giver in life, and it is fitting that even in her departure, she continued giving as an organ and tissue donor. One of her kidneys saved the life of Jolene Vargas, who now volunteers her time as a OneLegacy Ambassador. Jolene is also a hairdresser, like Patricia. Patricia's spirit lives on in others through the lives she saved and healed with her organs and tissues.
