CARLOS’S STORY

Carlos was a very happy, cheerful child growing up. His smile was always on his face. Carlos loved animals, all and every kind of animal. Every animal had a place in his heart. At the age of 14, Carlos got a part-time job at a local pet shop, he loved caring for the animals. Every payday he would turn around and make some sort of purchase, whether it was an animal, terrarium, pet food, or some sort of new animal contraption he was sure to spend it back in the pet shop. Every birthday we were prepared to receive some sort of exotic animal for sure. Carlos started driving at an early age. He always wanted to contribute someway at home, being that it was a single parent household. Once Carlos was able to obtain his license he opted to become a Donor, not knowing or assuming his life would end short time later. Carlos lived life with love, laughter, and fun always. I'm sure when he opted to be a Donor, he had that in mind to continue for someone else.
