Savannah was born on August 31st, 1996 in Fort Hood, TX. As a military child, she lived in many different places and experienced things most adults don’t get to do in a lifetime. No matter where she moved, Savannah always found a way to make friends and fit in wherever she went. She was a triple threat, participating in state competitions and leadership roles for choir, drama, and her school’s dance team. She had plans of becoming a veterinarian. She always had a huge heart no matter if it was animals or people. Savannah is survived by her Father Phillip L. Robertson, Step Mother Tracy Robertson, mother Rebecca Wiles, brother Phillip P. Robertson, and countless others whose heart she’s touched.
Savannah’s Story
Savannah was born on August 31st, 1996 in Fort Hood, TX. As a military child, she lived in many different places and experienced things most adults don’t get to do in a lifetime. After Texas she lived in Nebraska for a year while her father was in Korea for the Army. Upon his return from Korea, they moved to Savannah (coincidence? YES), GA, Hawaii, Louisiana, Washington and then to Alaska! Upon her Father’s retirement from the military the family moved back to Nebraska to live and move no more.
Being a military kid, you move a lot and have to make and leave friends all the time. No matter where she moved, Savannah always found a way to make friends and fit in wherever she went. She was always involved in sports and activities while she was growing up. She had a beautiful voice in which she won many awards and was even selected to attend a state competition representing her school. Savannah was always involved in Drama and all the plays in her high school. For some reason Savannah always seemed to get the characters that were the most dramatic (fitting for her). As a member of the dance team, she had to choreograph their own dances every week.
Savannah had ambitions to go to the University of Nebraska-Omaha for her undergraduate classes and then on to Iowa State to finish her degree to become a veterinarian. From a young age she always hated to see animals hurt or suffering. She would always say how much she wanted to help animals when she grew up. She always had a huge heart no matter if it was animals or people.
Savannah is survived by her Father Phillip L. Robertson, Step Mother Tracy Robertson, mother Rebecca Wiles, brother Phillip P. Robertson, among numerous cousins, aunts, uncles.
