Harry’s Story
I am one among you for donating a kidney. I came to do this after my son Nick died and I found myself unable to accept this loss. I finely found peace by stepping forward and offering to share my health to someone in need through the miracle of transplantation. The hard work of many skillful minds and hands had created a chain of donors and recipients. Their loving gift gave renewed hope of life and happiness to those in pain and desperation.
My story is like yours. I am someones’ son, brother, husband and grateful father. I’ve been a student, a soldier, and a working man trying to provide. I’ve had success and known failure; stood proud and walked in shame. Through it all, I seek to make sense of my life yet I am open to its’ mysteries.
In the end, we are all brothers and sisters. Each of us can offer someone a helping hand. Together, we all will be better for it. I thank you for lifting me back up and through this chain of Nicks’, forever be bonded to you.
